This is the last chance to enrol on this course. It will be withdrawn by Pearson on 31st August 2023.
 It is available by distance learning/online modes. Very flexible approach to gaining a qualification and encourage students to find the best way of learning to suit their style. 
This course is for those interested in Information Technology and who want to go to university. If you have two A level's and want to top up to the equivalent three, then the 60 credit Subsidiary Diploma is for you. It is made up of 6 units. There are six Business related units within the IT specification that may be useful for those who are still looking for Business related subjects. This course might be useful as bridging opportunities from business to IT as well as adding one more A level equivalent to your portfolio.
This Diploma follows the normal BTEC guidelines with continuous assessment throughout the course in the form of assignments. These are submitted by email so can be done at home or during workshop sessions in class. They are assessed, graded and count towards your final overall grade. Results are known well before A level results day, in a normal year. 
BTEC qualifications are a sound route to university and compete with A level qualifications as being the main pre-university qualification route to an undergraduate degrees.
This is run as a fast-track course and can be completed in 6 months. 

Entry Requirements


At least 4 GCSE's including English and Maths at grade C 9Level 4) and above. BTEC Level 2's accepted.
